Tim Bertram
Sr. Loan Officer
Tim was born in Erie and raised in North East, PA., after graduating from Penn State University, he moved south. Tim began working in the real estate industry in the 1980’s in the title insurance business. After a few years of learning the ins and outs of the title industry, he opened his own mortgage brokerage company in Boca Raton, Florida.
Tim moved back home to be closer to family, and opened his own Mortgage Brokerage Company in Erie in 2002. After hearing about the flexibility and the support team Holland Mortgage has to offer his clients, Tim transitioned over to Holland Mortgage in 2015.
With the constantly changing lending environment and the fact that no two loans are ever the same, the process can be quite intimidating for new clients. To help reduce their concerns and anxiety, Tim uses his expertise, and experience to help them pick out the best loan for their individual scenario. Tim believes that keeping his clients in the loop with communication at every milestone in the process is the reason why they refer family and friends to him for their mortgage needs.
Tim lives in Harborcreek, PA. and enjoys sailing on Lake Erie in the spring, summer and fall, and snow skiing in the winter.
