Amy comes to HMA with a decade of experience in family law, having worked as a family law attorney from 2009-2019. When she started working in the mortgage business with her husband, Jim Malamut, five years ago, she brought with her a wealth of knowledge regarding divorce, separation, alimony, child support and equitable distribution of assets. As a loan officer with a background in family law, Amy has come to realize how imperative it is for divorcing parties to consult with a mortgage professional like her at the outset of their divorce or separation. Amy is uniquely qualified to discuss purchase and refinance options with separating or divorcing buyers, as well as with their realtors and attorneys.
